Pricing & Reimbursement

Our group is a national leader in amniotics. We are vertically integrated which is important because we can then keep our cost down to our providers by not using a middleman to obtain placental tissue. Vertical integration is also very important because we are entering a tissue shortage. Having our own tissue bank we are seeing more and more competitors coming to us to purchase tissue as their middlemen are running low. We will never run out! And your patients will have all the tissue they need the next day, guaranteed!

We have very effective dual and tri layer placental tissue grafts for wounds and reimbursement and cost are as follows:

Artacent AC:

Tri Layer, dehydrated with a 5-year shelf life, apply either side up or down, 36 MUE per day.
MCR Reimbursement is $820/sq cm*
Provider cost is $556*

Artacent Wound:

Dual Layer, dehydrated with a 5-year shelf life, apply either side up or down, 124 MUE per day.
MCR reimbursement $420/sq cm*
Provider Cost $280 sq/cm*

*Prices can and do change so these are estimates, we just had a price increase in AC.

We have a pre-auth department that obtains authorization for you. If MCR or insurance decides not to pay, we will help you appeal, and then cover the cost of the grafts if they decide not to pay.
We also have a reassurance program that states this and the criteria that must be followed for this guarantee.
For cash flow purposes, you don’t pay for tissue until after you collect from MCR or Insurance.
There is no minimum on tissue orders per month to do business with us. Order only as much as you need!
