Description
Hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) is a blood test that measures the average amount of sugar (glucose) in your blood over the past 2 to 3 months. It is used to diagnose and monitor diabetes. The higher your HbA1c level, the higher your average blood sugar level has been over the past few months. A normal HbA1c level is around 5%.
